SUBJECT: SHARED DATA CENTER POWERDOWN AT 55 WATER STREET - LABOR DAY WEEKEND

A powerdown at 55 Water Street is scheduled for the Labor Day weekend. This event will affect the SIAC Shared Data Center facility on the 21st floor. The schedule calls for the processing of wind down commencing at 12 noon Saturday, September 5, 1998. The area is expected to be fully back on line by 12:00 midnight Sunday, September 6 (barring complications).

Please be advised that no application changes will be accepted for production implementation on Friday, September 4 or Saturday, September 5.

Contingencies for a delay in service restoration have been made in order to assure no disruption of service on the Tuesday following the holiday.
