On December 29, 1998 in Important Notice A4880, P&S 4444, NSCC announced three modifications to the new ACATS system that is scheduled for implementation on January 25, 1999. These changes were the result of findings from participant testing that concerned ACATS Fund/SERV customer account identification. Though the changes required are not extensive and will be implemented for processing on January 7, 1999, in time for the third conversion test over the weekend of January 8-9, 1999, NSCC wants to insure that they are thoroughly tested.

In order for all participants to have an adequate amount of time to test these changes fully, as well as make any modifications that may result from testing, NSCC is RESCHEDULING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW ACATS SYSTEM TO THE WEEKEND OF FEBRUARY 5-8, 1999.
