PARTICIPANT REAL-TIME TRADE MATCHING (RTTM) MESSAGING SAMPLES - APPENDIX C - FOR NSCC'S CORPORATE, MUNICIPAL AND UIT PRODUCTS |
||||
As previously announced in National Securities Clearing Corporation’s (NSCC) Important Notice dated April 7, 2003 (A#5589, P&S#5159), Fixed Income Clearing Corporate (FICC) issued the detailed interactive messaging specification, “Interactive Messaging – NSCC Participant Specifications for Matching Input and Output – Version 1.0”, for real-time trade matching for fixed income securities currently processed in NSCC’s Fixed Income Transaction System (FITS).
To supplement that document, FICC has expanded “Appendix C” to provide NSCC participants with a wider array of detailed sample messages. This additional document contains comprehensive message samples designed to assist participants in the development process. The expanded message samples can be found on the NSCC website (http://www.nscc.com) and is also available on the FICC website.
As a reminder, pending Securities and Exchange Commission approval, NSCC plans to begin utilizing FICC’s RTTM system for transactions currently processed through the FITS system to match Corporates, Municipals and UITs in the fourth quarter of 2003. RTTM will ultimately replace FITS.
Please see our websites for additional documentation including NSCC’s New Service Bulletin (dated May 30, 2002) which highlights key points for firms to keep in mind as they transition from FITS to RTTM.
For more information, about RTTM, please contact your Member Services representative or send an email to Member Services at cmuhelp@ficc.com.
