| SUBJECT: | Elimination of FITS Open Advisory Report |
Effective February 2, 2004, NSCC will eliminate the production of the Fixed Income Transaction System (FITS) Open Advisory Reports (AutoRoute #s 02030236 - Municipal and 02030441 - Corporate/UIT).
These reports allowed Participants to manually accept or "stamp" FITS trade advisories by marking specific trades and returning the report to NSCC for data entry. Participants now process all FITS trade advisories via NSCC PC Web or direct CPU-CPU transmissions. The report will be produced for the last time the evening of January 30 and will no longer be available February 2 and thereafter.
(Participants should also note that RTTM Web is replacing NSCC PC Web for Fixed Income screen input and output in March 2004. See NSCC Important Notice A#5732 and FICC Important Notice CMU010.03 dated 12/15/03 for further details.)
