Beginning on trade date 11/2/04, AAMES Investment Corp MD symbol AIC CUSIP 00252M106 began trading on the NYSE. NSCC was provided with an incorrect CUSIP 00252M106 for this security. This incorrect CUSIP was applied to our security masterfile. The correct CUSIP is 00253G108.
NSCC will be updating its files to reflect the correct CUSIP for symbol AIC with an effective date of 11/3/04.
All trades executed in AIC on trade date 11/2/04 with a settlement date of 11/5/04 will be recorded and reported to participants with the incorrect CUSIP of 00252M106. Participants are advised that for settlement date 11/5/04, NSCC, through its CNS Reorganization System, will swing all net positions as a result of these trades from CUSIP 00252M106 to CUSIP 00253G108. CNS allocations for these trades will settle in CNS under CUSIP 00253G108.
Participants are advised that no action is required by them to effect this change in CNS.
