On August 13, 2004 National Securities Clearing Corporation ("NSCC" or “the Corporation”) filed and on November 10, 2004 the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") approved a rule filing with regards to a modification of NSCC’s Rules & Procedures to permit NSCC to provide a new service to its affiliate, DTCC Deriv/SERV LLC. The approval was granted on a temporary basis through May 31, 20051.
